North Gujarat, Kutcha, Saurastra region of Gujarat state produce nearly 60-65% and remaining 30-35 % are from South West Rajasthan. Desert bound soil & climate is most suitable for good crop quality. So, these area's farmers use very low chemicals/pesticides fertilizers on Cumin crop. Recently developed variety GC-4 is disease resistant, 20% more yield and V.O. 4%. Therefore, from 2009 more than 50% Gujarat farmers may go for cultivation of GC-4 variety. Gradually after 2-3 years only, cultivation of GC-4 will be possible with full availability of seeds.

Cumin requires much experience & expertise to clean stems, sticks,Nauxicious weeds, other crop seeds etc., which we assure to clean well.
